Visiting the salon: Covid-19 safety measures
After months of uncertainty due to the outbreak of Covid-19, we’re happy to announce that we are back open. Of course, things are going to be a little bit different. Your health and safety are paramount to us and we have been working hard to put measures in place.
We’re committed to ensuring the safety of all of our customers and all of our staff. We’ve outlined some of the safety measures we’ve put in place below, and what you can expect on your next visit to us.
If you have any of the following symptoms, then please DO NOT come to the salon:
A high temperature
A loss of taste and/or smell
Instead, you can call or go online to rearrange your appointment. For a limited time, all facial treatments will not be available. Other appointments must be pre-booked, and there will be no walk-in appointments.
All clients must arrive at their allocated appointment time. Please do not arrive early or late as we cannot have people waiting due to social distancing measures.
Please attend your appointment alone, and due to social distancing, we cannot have anyone waiting for you. Please do not bring children to your appointment. The only exception is if ONE other person in your household is also having their hair cut, and has an appointment already arranged prior to their arrival.
Please try to limit the number of personal belongings you bring with you. If possible, do not bring any coats or bags. You may be asked to store your belongings in a carrier bag.
When entering the salon please use the hand sanitiser provided. Please bring a face covering with you to your appointment, and keep it on until you are gowned and seated. A surgical mask not required.
The government has stated that the stylist must wear a visor and masks are not required to be worn by either the stylist or the client unless they wish to. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that a mask provides extra protection when a visor is worn.
Please use the small hand sanitisers on the workstation. If you need to use the bathroom then please wash your hands thoroughly and dry your hands using the paper towels provided. Put the paper towels in the bin provided and not the toilet!
We will be accepting both cash and card as methods of payment. Please book your next appointment as you leave as we will be extremely busy for the foreseeable future. Please note that our prices have been revised based on the additional costs and spacing of clients. We hope you can understand why we have had to implement some of these price increases.
We are continuing to keep up to date on the developing situation, following the latest government advice and recommendations. We will keep you all updated regularly with total transparency as things progress.
